The Misch International Implant Institute™ (MIII) is proud to work with our Co-Sponsor Temple University to provide a patient treatment portion of our surgical program. We offer these courses exclusively to the doctors that have either graduated or are currently enrolled in the full series surgical program. The attending doctors may participate in one of two ways; either as on observer or as an operating doctor. We limit the attendance at these sessions in both capacities thus allowing each participating doctor to maximize their learning experience.


These sessions are offered at the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

All cases that are completed are screened by the Misch faculty. This process includes evaluating the patient by using the CT scans, in-depth health histories, radiographs, and the treating doctor’s evaluation of the patient’s expectations. The cases must be approved. Once approval has been given a surgical operating time will be assigned.


In addition to observing 12 to 24 surgeries of dental implant procedures (i.e. implant placement, membrane grafting, block grafting, and sinus elevations), the attendee will also have opportunities to observe aseptic set-up, armamentarium, operating room etiquette, vital sign monitoring, and treatment planning. The participating doctors will learn to how to handle complications as the may arise.
